Code of Conduct

1. Purpose
The DreamPetal Studios community exists to foster creativity, collaboration, friendship, storytelling, learning, and fun.
This Code of Conduct applies to all DreamPetal Studios Services, including websites, forums, games, voice communication services, applications, events, and community spaces.
By participating in the Services, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct.
2. Be Respectful
Treat other community members with respect and basic human decency.
Disagreements are allowed.
Harassment is not.
You may not:
- Harass, bully, or intimidate others
- Engage in targeted harassment campaigns
- Encourage others to harass users
- Repeatedly contact users who have asked you to stop
- Deliberately disrupt conversations or community activities
3. No Hate Speech or Discrimination
DreamPetal Studios welcomes people from diverse backgrounds.
Content or behavior that attacks, demeans, threatens, or discriminates against others based on personal characteristics is prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Race
- Ethnicity
- Nationality
- Religion
- Disability
- Sex
- Gender
- Gender identity
- Sexual orientation
4. No Threats or Dangerous Behavior
You may not:
- Threaten violence
- Encourage self-harm
- Encourage violence against others
- Promote criminal activity
- Share instructions intended to cause harm
Any credible threat may result in immediate account termination and referral to appropriate authorities when necessary.
5. Keep the Community Safe
You may not:
- Share another person's private information without permission
- Doxx users
- Impersonate staff members
- Impersonate other users
- Attempt to obtain passwords or account credentials
- Engage in scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
6. Appropriate Content
Content shared through DreamPetal Services should be appropriate for a community intended for users sixteen (16) years of age and older.
The following content is prohibited:
- Pornographic content
- Sexually explicit content
- Graphic violence
- Extreme gore
- Content intended to shock or disgust
- Illegal content
- Content that violates applicable laws
Artistic, educational, or story-related content may be evaluated based on context.
7. Fair Play
Users may not:
- Cheat
- Hack
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
- Use bots or unauthorized automation
- Use unauthorized third-party software
- Circumvent game systems
- Abuse unintended mechanics for unfair advantage
If you discover a bug or exploit, report it rather than abuse it.
8. Respect the Services
You may not:
- Attempt to disrupt the Services
- Interfere with servers or infrastructure
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems
- Circumvent security measures
- Reverse engineer Services where prohibited
- Conduct activities that negatively impact service stability
9. Spam and Advertising
You may not:
- Spam content
- Flood discussions
- Repeatedly post duplicate content
- Advertise products or services without permission
- Distribute malicious links
- Engage in deceptive promotion
Reasonable sharing of relevant community projects may be permitted when appropriate.
10. Staff and Moderation
DreamPetal Studios moderators and staff are responsible for maintaining a healthy community environment.
Users are expected to cooperate with moderation actions.
Harassment of staff members or attempts to evade moderation actions may result in additional penalties.
Moderation decisions may include:
- Warnings
- Content removal
- Temporary restrictions
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
11. Reporting Violations
Users are encouraged to report violations of this Code of Conduct.
Reports should be made in good faith.
Knowingly false reports, malicious reporting, or abuse of reporting systems may result in moderation action.
12. Enforcement
DreamPetal Studios reserves the right to investigate violations of this Code of Conduct.
Enforcement actions may be taken at DreamPetal Studios' discretion to protect the safety, integrity, and well-being of the community and Services.
Violations may result in:
- Warnings
- Content removal
- Account restrictions
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
Serious violations may result in immediate account termination without prior warning.
13. Community Values
DreamPetal Studios believes communities thrive when people act with kindness, respect, creativity, curiosity, and good faith.
The goal of this Code of Conduct is not merely to prohibit harmful behavior, but to encourage a welcoming environment where people can create, learn, collaborate, and enjoy shared experiences together.
